Dennis J. Schneider, Ed.D.

Dennis J. Schneider, Ed.D., is a clinical psychologist who has been in practice since 1989. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1987. While completing his doctoral studies in psychology and counseling, he worked in the field of chemical dependency. He managed an outpatient treatment program at the Clermont County Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and later worked as a family therapist at the Christ Hospital Alcohol and Drug Unit. He developed an educational program there for spouses and family members of those going through alcohol and drug rehabilitation. For the past 27 years he has worked extensively with individuals suffering from chronic pain, work injuries, and physical or emotional traumas. In addition, he served as the staff psychologist for Greater Cincinnati Pain Management Center and the staff psychologist for Pledger Orthopedic and Spine. Dr. Schneider’s specialties and interests include presurgical psychological evaluations for spinal surgery, spinal cord stimulators, and pain pumps; psychological evaluation and treatment of injured workers’ treatment of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, and PTSD; and managing pain and chronic health issues.
